Leif returns to Stockholm and
improves his standing in the 2007 Marathon!
By Leif Skyving
Is there no stopping this 52 year old Swede? Two years
ago, at age 50, he finished 6,705th, out of 17,000 participants.
This year 5,552nd! Considering that he is two years older
and that the race was run in an unseasonable 87 degree heat, it's amazing
to consider that Leif improved his placing by vanquishing an additional
1000 contestants! Incredibly the following night he
performed in downtown Stockholm at 'Big Ben' and once again was a smashing
success! "The Swedish crowds are fantastic, I do my regular act
in English and they laugh in all the right places!" marveled a jubilant
Leif. One of these days I'll have the guts to try it in Swedish!
Leif Skyving wins the 2005
Stockholm Marathon!
By Leif Skyving

"Well, technically I finished 6,705th" says Leif,
"but all my friends and
relatives tell me I'm a winner just for signing up!" Leif spent the early summer traveling to his native Sweden with his
family. While in Sweden, he not only finished his first marathon, but
performed to a sold out house, and standing ovation at Ove Med
Skägget, a comedy club, in downtown Stockholm.

Francisco International Comedy Competition!
By Leif Skyving
September 20, 2006
After a grueling gut wrenching week of comedy, Leif scores with the judges
and is amongst the "top five" of his preliminary group to
advance to the semi finals. Beginning this coming Monday September 25 at
the Carriage House Theater in Saratoga CA
a total of ten comics representing the "top five" of two
separate weeks of preliminary's will compete in six shows over the course
of the week for the honor of making the "top five" of ten, and
advance to a week of finals where an ultimate winner will be declared (is
this the longest sentence ever, or what?). For more information on
the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, it's rich history and
